A few days ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4, it’s new Android flagship. We’ve had a few rumors and leaks, and this time most of them were right. Actually, the exact design of the S4 was leaked the day of the announcement.
The Galaxy S4 looks a lot like the S3 and the Note 2, it has a 5″ Super AMOLED full HD screen but is the same size has the S3, which is nice. The sides of the device are a bit more straight than what Samsung did with the S3 and it’s really rounded shape, which was supposed to feel more “human”.

Sony or Huawei weren’t the only ones to display 5″ phones, ZTE introduced the Grand S LTE.
It has a 5″ screen with full HD resolution, a 13 megapixels camera, a huge 1.7GHz Quad Core CPU and is running Android Jelly Bean.
After Nokia, HTC and Samsung, Huawei is the next phone maker to add a Windows Phone 8 device to it’s portfolio.
The Ascend W1 has a 1.2GHz Dual Core CPU, 4″ screen and a 5 megapixels camera. Sure it’s not as sexy on paper as the 920 or 8X, but the W1 shouldn’t be priced of $200. Nice !
While the Mate is very big, the Ascend D2 from Huawei is still a huge device with it’s 5″ screen.
It also features a Quad Core CPU, a 13 megapixels camera and is running Android 4.1.
Huawei announced a pretty huge device called the Ascend Mate. It has a 6.1″ screen, a 1.5GHz Quad Core processor and an 8 megapixels camera on the back.
A few days prior to the CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Sony announced two new smartphones, both running on Quad Core CPUs and equiped with 5″ screens. The Xperia Z is one of them.
The LG Optimus G was announced a few weeks ago already but we didn’t had the chance to have fun with it.

Haier is proudly displaying it’s new devices at CES this year. We had the opportunity to go hands-on with the HaierPhone, with a 5.3″ screen, a Dual Core 1.5GHz processor and a 8 megapixels camera.
Samsung announced a few days ago the ATIV Odyssey, it’s newest addition to the ATIV series. The device is running Windows Phone 8, in a more compact format than the ATIV S.

Basically, it enables the user to use the Note feature on a wider canvas, with fancy background images that you can add.
